The King William IV undergoes continuous deep cleaning, and our sustained 5-star hygiene rating is testimony to our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene. We have also been awarded Covid Safe Certification by the Independent Food Guru organisation.

At the King William IV we are very lucky to have the perfect outdoor environment for social distancing, and have even made changes in excess of government guidelines.

These measures include significant spacing between our garden tables, full garden table service, a one-way system, toilets with clear instructions that are locked to non-customers and a dedicated staff toilet. Our menus are downloadable by phone, although sanitised hard copies are available if required. Inside, we have halved our capacity so our customers can relax in space and safety.

We have also installed a beautiful canopied area over our garden terrace which is equipped with twinkly fairy light and patio heaters.
