The King William IV is nestled in the Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty and is fortunate to have some of the most stunning countryside on our doorstep to explore. The King Bill on the Hill, as we are known locally, has probably the best views of any pub garden in Surrey and the Box Hill Hike trail runs literally at the side of our historic Inn. The Box Hill hike is a strenuous 8 miler, but there are lots of alternatives. Explore the River Mole for a flatter walk or go to Norbury Park across the road and see the cows and horses. This really is a paradise for cyclists and walkers.
But the best part of the day is popping into the King William for a Sunday roast and pint of local ale or perhaps a homemade steak burger and pint of lime and soda. You will always receive a warm welcome here.
